ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Story Teller House
The Story Teller House is a digital museum to be located at Ile Ife, in Western Nigeria. Its purpose is to preserve and showcase the rich history and traditions of the Yoruba people of West Africa. The central theme on the project is the significance of Ile Ife in the ancestry of the Yoruba.
The museum will present artefacts, oral traditions and scholarly work on the Yoruba from prehistoric to modern times. A further objective on the project is to present this content in compelling and engaging formats. When finished, the museum will be open to inform and entertain visitors from around the world.
